Who can create an offer?
Any signed-in user can create an offer for any business listed on OfferEvo.
Link to this answerHow do I create an offer?
Tap the plus button, search for the business, then write the offer and its conditions and submit it for approval.
Link to this answerCan I create an offer for a business that is not on OfferEvo?
No. The business has to be on OfferEvo first, because it has to approve the offer before it goes live.
Link to this answerHow long can the offer headline be?
42 characters. The form shows a live counter.
Link to this answerHow long can the conditions be?
120 characters.
Link to this answerWhy is the headline so short?
Offers are shown as cards in a feed, and a short headline keeps every card readable at a glance. Use the conditions field for the detail.
Link to this answerWhat should I put in the conditions?
Anything that limits the offer, such as which days it applies on, times, or what has to be bought. For example, on weekdays before 11am.
Link to this answerCan I choose the offer's category?
No. The category comes from the business and cannot be changed on an individual offer.
Link to this answerCan I choose the offer's colour?
Only if the business allows it. Some businesses lock their brand colour, and then every offer for them uses that colour.
Link to this answerWhat colours can I pick?
Any colour. If a colour would be hard to read in light or dark mode, OfferEvo adjusts its brightness for that mode only and keeps your colour everywhere else.
Link to this answerHow many redemptions can I set?
Up to the maximum the business allows. Some businesses fix a single number, others let you choose from a range up to their cap.
Link to this answerWhat does it mean when the redemption count is locked?
The business has chosen a fixed number, so every offer for them allows exactly that many redemptions.
Link to this answerHow long can an offer run?
Up to the maximum number of days the business allows. As with redemptions, some businesses fix it and others let you choose.
Link to this answerWhen does the countdown start?
When the business approves the offer, not when you submit it. An offer waiting for approval is not using up its days.
Link to this answerCan I edit an offer after submitting it?
No. Offers cannot be edited. If something is wrong, archive it and create a new one.
Link to this answerCan I delete an offer I created?
You can archive it, which removes it from everywhere public. Archiving is permanent and cannot be undone.
Link to this answerHow many offers can I create?
There is no limit on how many you submit. Each one still needs the business to approve it.
Link to this answerCan I create an offer for my own business?
Yes. You can post for a business you own and approve it yourself.
Link to this answerCan two people create the same offer for one business?
Yes. The business decides which ones to approve.
Link to this answerDo I get anything for creating an offer?
Your name and handle appear on the offer card, and your public profile lists the offers you created.
Link to this answerCan I make an offer that never expires?
No. Every offer has a set number of days and ends when that runs out.
